  1. Re: BYOD registration issues causing incoming calls to fail

What I've seen in the past, is their server time clocks get out of sync. So on their side, the registration expires early, like you said, by as much as a minute or more. Then your device...
  2. Re: Sporadic Failover Calls in the past couple of months

yeah, ticket got escalated to Tim and Brandon. They seem to have sorted it out. Though if what you say about 2 seconds is true, that is still a problem in my mind.

I agree it is frustrating that...
  3. Re: Sporadic Failover Calls in the past couple of months

Yes. Looks like their clocks are off again, by almost a minute. So registrations are expiring early, causing inbound calls to failover.

Outbound calls work, because they open connection at...

    Poll: Re: No Ring

I don't think voipo offers an 8 port device.

This forum is great for getting tips from other users, but I think your case is beyond that.

You probably need to open a support ticket to speak...

    Poll: Re: No Ring

I didn't see it mentioned previously that you have 2 ATAs. Make sure all the registrations are using different ports, or they can conflict and you'll get a variety of errors.

    Try using each ATA...

    Poll: Re: No Ring

No, not really. NAT was created to artificially add more IP addresses, since IPv4 is running out quickly.

One can argue that NAT adds a layer of "obfuscation" (difficulty by complexity), but NAT...

Re: When Will It Get Out of Beta?

I've been using voipo for over 7 years. Plenty of bugs and outages, but it is definitely live.

I think the "beta" tag is more of a disclaimer they use for when something breaks (which happens all...

    Re: History Action Tag Needed

This forum doesn't seem to get much attention anymore. You may have better luck opening a support ticket.

And I agree, lots of easy little improvements could be made to the control panel, such as...

    Re: Nomorobo.com

following up on this old thread. any way to get a reseller listed with nomorobo?
  12. Newly provisioned numbers go to failover after 4 or 5 rings

Anyone else experiencing this with new numbers?

They seem to work ok, especially on outbound.

But inbound calls go to failover after 4 or 5 rings, even with rings set to 30 rings.

    If I...
  13. Re: vPanel call history missing data and bogus outgoing call entries

I've got some accounts experiencing the same issue, only on voipo to voipo calls.

I've got a ticket open on it, and it's been open for about 5 days now.

    I suspect there's a bug that is...
  14. Re: Sporadic Failover Calls in the past couple of months

late last night, voipo resolved a clock synchronization issue, that was causing registration to expire prematurely.

    registrations are now expiring accurately.

many thanks to the voipo team for...
  15. Re: Sporadic Failover Calls in the past couple of months

    Good info.

I see that the Grandstream ATA's have a "re-register before expiration" setting.

This likely helps in situations exactly like this, where the service provider has an early timeout....
  16. Re: Sporadic Failover Calls in the past couple of months

I may be on to something with this issue. I want to see if anyone else can verify what I'm seeing.

It appears that sometimes the registration times out early, causing a brief period for every...

Re: Inbound and outbound calls failing today

Yes, it was a wide outage. Voipo says it was a limited outage, but it seems like it was either a total network outage, or very widespread at the least.

    Massive outage today

Entire voipo network seems to be down today.

Support is aware, but calling it "isolated" event. Not sure i buy that, since every one of my users is down.

    Re: Incoming Caller ID

Doesn't happen too often, but it does randomly happen every now and then.

Sometimes I'll get 2 or more calls in a day from the same person. One call may show caller id, but the other(s) may not.
  20. Re: Outbound calls don't complete and give a fast busy.

Yes, everything is dead at the moment.

I've been reporting this issue recently on a few specific accounts. It seems to have started a couple of months ago, and was hard to pin down what was...
  21. Re: Sporadic Failover Calls in the past couple of months

Getting busy signals or "all circuits are busy" on pretty much all of my accounts today.

    Anyone else?

    Re: 407 proxy authentication errors

@FloridaMatt, which voipo server are you registered to?

I had a client with the same problem on Friday. Went away after they rebooted their pbx and comcast modem/router.

    But that could have...
