Discontinued my Voipo residential phone number early in 2019 so I no longer have access to Vpanel. I did not port the phone number, so it should inactive. The last few months, I've started to...
Are they coming from sms.voipwelcome.com ? I no longer have Voipo service yet I'm still receiving SMS spam messages to my old Voipo phone number which is no longer active.
Worked this morning and now both inbound and outbound calls are failing today. Spoke with another Voipo user and he is experiencing the same problem. I'm assuming this is a widespread problem?
How do I start troubleshooting outbound call quality issues? I have people telling me that "I'm breaking up" or they don't hear a syllable or two. Sometimes entire words are dropped and the calling...
It's now working normally for me. Both inbound and outbound calls complete.
I would add that inbound calls fail to complete as well.
Anyone else having an issue making or receiving calls this morning?
I used X-Lite in the past. Here is another discussion of alternatives.

I'll watch it for a few more days next week and see what happens. I've confirmed that I have Nomorobo turned on and enabled in the Vpanel. Thanks.
Did something change this week? It was working fine with the single ring for a year or so. I'm getting completed calls for carpet cleaning and other companies this week. Something is weird.
It's working now. Thank you for the help! You may close my ticket.
Thanks Tim! I did.
Thanks. It's a feature that I use infrequently but when I do, it's busted. Not that big of a deal when an SMS doesn't show up in my email. All I do is go to the Beta Voipo control panel and view...
Saw a couple of threads on this but no official answer. I'm receiving SMS messages on my Voipo number succesfully but they never show up on my Gmail account, which I have set up as a forwarding...
You can also use a two line phone. Harder to find nowadays but some companies still make them. I have a two line Siemens cordless phone that is probably ten years old now but still going strong.
Started working just now at 13:16.
Ouch. Didn't know that was a limitation and got my softphone up and running just for the travel reasons. There are many times that I'm on several different airports, hotels, offices and networks...
Anyone aware of Call History issues today (4/10/2013)? I see no incoming or outgoing calls in my call history today. I'm using the GA version of VPanel and not the beta if that matters.
And the proper way to do this remotely appears to be...
1) Dial 832-838-7000 from your mobile phone
2) Type in your VOIP phone number
3) Type in your voice mail password
4) Press pound sign "#"
Thank you. I did get X-Lite working on a laptop but I'm interested in a more portable, compact way of traveling and that wifi phone may be it.
Can you share what make/model you bought? I would be interested in playing around with this too when I travel.
I've had my ATA in the DMZ since day one and haven't set up any port forwarding for it. I set up a DHCP reservation, based on the ATA's MAC address, for a specific IP address and use that IP address...
I would love to have the ability to email and send an SMS message to multiple recipients too.
PM sent. Thanks!
Check your Vpanel under the Billing tab and see what you have there for your Contact Number. My mobile number is listed there.
