    Default HostGator News

I had to reread a line in the HostGator newsletter a couple times.
As of last month we have hit 200,000 customers!
That was just the signups for one month!
That is roughly 6666.6666 signups a day!

I don't think Tim has caught up to them yet

Using VOIPo services since February 2007
Beta Tested the VOIPo Reseller Plan.
    A happy VOIPo Residential Customer

    Using VoIP devices since 12-2002
    Companies I've tried

    Well, not quite

HostGator has over 2.2 million websites hosted, but what most don't realize is that 95%+ of HostGator's business comes from the resellers.

In terms of directly hosted customers, there's now over 200K. The other 2 million accounts are from resellers. So technically speaking, there are 200K direct customers and 2.2 million overall.

Growth is great, but not quite 6K signups a day. At HG did $37 million last year and my estimate for this year is $55-60 million.

Reseller growth is a key part of our business plan at HG and has driven 90% of the growth. That's why we're so eager to launch the VOIPo reseller plans.

Is there any updates on the reseller program?

For this year, I highly doubt this. Their users are currently rapidly declining. Not really sure what the exact reason is by the way.

Sorry to hear that you're having issues with their service.

We're not directly affiliated with HostGator from an ownership standpoint since it was sold a few years ago. We did not sell VOIPO.

They are still a marketing partner and a customer of VOIPO.
