Error checking with hardware MAC's in reseller CP
While beta testing some error checking aspects of hardware/MAC assignments in the reseller CP, I identified the following...
- In the Hardware - Configure My Hardware - Provision My Device screen, the system allowed me to enter the MAC address of a device that already existed on another account. After clicking 'Add Device', I was able to verify via the 'Accounts' tab that the same device (MAC) appears on two independent accounts.
- In the new Hardware screen, I was able to change the Line 1 and Line 2 phone numbers to numbers not associated with the device (based on the device MAC on the Account screen). The Line 1 and Line 2 drop-down boxes should only reflect/allow selection of phone numbers associated with the MAC address, based on the Account assignment.
