Fortunately, other free chat applications such as Miranda and Pidgin support Google Talk, so even if you don't use Windows, you will still be able to use Google Talk.

Host Gator usedto have Yabb 2.1 in the fantasico thingy - that's where I found it. I noticed it disappeared about a year ago. I have no idea why but I am still using it.

Never investigated any of these.

And I see the Live Chat in cPanel is their support chat, not an app like I thought.

Well, I use LiveZilla only now. I really like it. Are you looking to get rid of it?

The only other one I have used is Help Center Live (http://www.helpcenterlive.com/) but I had some issues with version 2 and version 3 has been in production for almost 2 years and I needed to find something that worked.
