SIP Incoming not ringing

hi i am new to sip and can make calls just fine. however, when someone is calling me only my softphone rings, not the phones connected to the ata. is this supposed to be like this?

On vPanel under Features => Devices
can you see your ATA registered?

I expect it should ring. Likely worth a ticket.
Does it ring when the soft phone is not running?

the phones connected to the ata ring
my sip softphone does not ring even though it is registered with voipo.
note that this lack of ringing on the softphone only occurs when it is connected to the same network that the ata is on. when it is connected to another network it rings fine. i opened port 5060 on my router firewall for tcp and udp for my softphone device (android based cell phone), but it didnt help.

try giving your softphone a different port like 5061
so there is no conflict with the ata on 5060
