Default Does the file upload feature on this forum work for anybody?

Has anyone else tried to upload an attachment with their posts lately? Does it work or does it always fail with "invalid file format"? I opened a support ticket about a month ago and they claimed it worked on their end, and then put the ticket on indefinite hold while they investigate. It seems to be a permissions issue because I see Tim is able post screenshots, etc.

Also, does half of the emoticons to the right of post screen always show red X's?

    I'm using IE8......

No red X's in Firefox but its been obvious for a long time the images are missing from the server.

I get the same response from the forum software when I try to upload an image.

Im under the maximum size and can upload the image to my forum so I know its fine. Your right. Its a permission issue.

Mine only worked in the early days.
One way is to link an image from elsewhere.

It would be handy if it was re-enabled.

I have not tested all the extensions.
Valid file extensions: bmp doc gif jpe jpeg jpg pdf png psd txt zip
I did test to see if it was case sensitive.

    Good to know......

I've pretty much tested all the file extensions....still no joy. I thought it was just me after this response from support:

    Good afternoon,

It has been confirmed that this feature should be working correctly. Could you try this again for and let us know if you are still having trouble attaching files?

    Thank you in advance!
