    Default Compatible Routers

Has anyone successfully used any other routers besides the 3 they sell?
If so, please use this forum to update the tested ones.
    EVEN IF THEY DON'T WORK!

    - Linksys RTP300:
Doesn't work. It played a message telling me my phone may be in the wrong port. I got this router years ago from Vonage.

If this list gets long enough, I will put together a Matrix of routers tested.

    Voipo actually sells 4 routers:
    - Linksys PAP2
    - Linksys PAP2T
    - Linksys RT31P2
    - Grandstream HT502
This post is to determine if any other routers "on the market" work and/or don't work.

I have used the RTP300 successfully myself. In fact I use one to this day as an outgoing only with no registration and fax through it...

Dlink 1402s was a complete failure here...

Hey chpalmer was it from Vonage?
I wonder if they modified it for their service only.

Not all these devices are routers - the PAP2 isn't, for example.

    How did you unlock it?
I would love to figure this out because I signed up for the reseller package that comes with 3 numbers but only one adapter. It would help a lot if I could use this RTP300 as well.
Maybe I should star another thread about unlocking the RTP300?

If you unlock the ATA and diddle with it, how can you expect the VoIP Tech Support staff to willingly help you?
