    Default 7 day registration limitation

Any one else have problems with having to reboot their adapters every 7 days? About circa 1 year ago my adapter would stay up for months without a reboot. In the past few months my device goes unregistered after almost exactly 7 days. I reboot the adapter and I'm good for another 7 days. My keep alive from my ATA is set to 29 seconds, but no matter what I do to my ATA, after 7 days the Voipo server denies the re-registration request. I guess the only solution is to setup a cron job to reboot it weekly.

Typically when this happens, an ATA is behind a router without port forwarding and once the IP renews (most ISPs renew at 7), the router stops sending the registration packages traffic through normally to the device and the device never gets our password request when it attempts to register since it stops at the router.

99% of the time, this is resolved by port forwarding.

What's your current setup (in terms of network layout, etc)?

Good point Tim, I didn't think of an ISP renew. I will try it.

    Thanks.
