Thread: bogus caller IDs

    Default bogus caller IDs

My mom gets calls from +177000 about once a week.
I added the number to the blacklist a few weeks ago but a call with that ID came through today.
I have private calls set to block all unknown calls, is there anything else I can do?

Use wild cards to blacklist calls - for example ****000*** or other combination's to isolate that number - does she get any other legitimate calls with a + as the leading digit?

I deny all unknown numbers, then enable area codes that are valid like 734*******. I send the unknown straight to Voice mail, so I can catch anyone I should have white listed. Because the local area code is present, drugstore refill messages, dentist and doctor appointments all ring through.

    It makes things very peaceful
