    Default VOIP Availability In Canada

I'm located in Canada and am interested in the VOIP reseller program and wondered approx. when it will be available to Canadians.

    Thank you!!

Many of us asked them the same thing so we can offer services to Canadian users. It does not look like it will be any time soon. What I have done is started to use voip.ms to offer Canadian numbers to non us individuals.

I suspect when they include Canada, it will be a significant investment with some partner. Right now they can get numbers, but won't likely offer them for the limited locations and prices.

One thing I wonder about .... I *think* that VOIPo E911 should work with Canadian addresses, but a US number. Tim would have to confirm such a rumor to know for sure. Or maybe I am full of air?

I did play with a Windsor Ontario number for a while when I tested the Beta Reseller plan.

Thanks for you replies. I guess I don't understand why it's taking so long but it must be for a good reason.

We don't have anything in the works.

The wholesale cost structure is much different there and adding another country would mean more regulatory issues to deal with so ultimately we just don't think it'd be profitable for us to do overall without an entirely new business model for Canada.

So ultimately there are no plans to expand to Canada at this point.
