Thread: Confirmation on toll free minute cost

Default Confirmation on toll free minute cost

If a client purchases a toll free number and has a non toll free number from a reseller or voipo as well what is the cost to the wholesaler. I have a feeling it is the .025 for the toll free plus the .01 for the forward to the voipo number.

If it was not a voipo number it was forward to it would be then .025 x 2

    Just want to verify this.

    Thanks.

Basically you'd always pay for the incoming toll-free portion at 2.5 cents.

The destination determines what else you pay. If it's forwarded to a SIP account or VoIP device or an on-network VOIPo number, you'd pay nothing else.

If it's forwarded to another external phone number, you'd pay the cost for a normal outgoing call.

So as an example, if forwarded to an external number, you'd pay 2.5 cents for the incoming tf portion and then 1 cent for the outgoing call portion.

If in your example, the destination is a VOIPo number (so it's staying on the VOIPo network without hitting the regular phone network), then you'd only pay the incoming 2.5 since on network destinations are free.
