What is the purpose of mobile in the beta section? Also what about SMS in the beta section?

Figured it out, awesome, I can use my mobile user ID as the ID of my Voipo phone. I also love the ability to block all the bogus callers with a disconnected message.

I'd like to know as well, where'd you get the information?

I've entered three cell numbers. (Its been a while)
Once one is entered, there is a "Verify Number" step.
This causes VOIPo to call the phone and ask for the access code.
(The code is on the web page when you click "Verify Number")

Then you can use any of these numbers to set to outgoing number people see for a second line on the second phone port.

I also thought the primary number could be changed, but I cannot find a vPanel link . . .

Found the users guide in a Google search, you would think they would make it a sticky at the top of the forum?

The Vpanel guide is here http://forums.voipo.com/showthread.p...ial-user-guide

It should be made a sticky, I found it with a Google search.

That section is actually mislabeled ... the phone you use does not have to be a mobile phone. I verified my home phone as a 'mobile' number and, when we call with our VOIPo line, the caller ID shows up with our home phone. (we use VOIPo primarily for outbound calls).

Yes, perhaps it should be called "alias phone".
A verifiable number is the discerning criteria.
