What's the best way to find out if a number is portable before starting the entire porting process and getting a rejection? I assume a simple support ticket? Is there any easier way?

Check the list in the "Coverage Area" section near bottom of http://www.voipo.com/reseller-voip.php and see if the number is in one of the listed cities. If it is, then it's portable.

I just noticed that several areas that are not on that list are portable according to support!
