Question Best way to handle temporary numbers and transfers?

Question to the VOIPo mods, and other resellers...

How do you handle temporary numbers?

I've been creating temporary numbers for people to use until they are sure they want to transfer. Then, when they transfer their own number, I wait 30 days before expiring the temporary number.

This doesn't cost much extra, but still seems inefficient and a bit tedious.

Plus, I now have a lot of "canceled" numbers in my reseller control panel, cluttering things up.

Does anyone do anything different or have suggestions?

By the way, it would be nice to have an option to permanently remove, or at least hide, canceled numbers once they have been recycled into the pool.

I agree. If you contact voipo through your reseller panel and include the numbers you want removed, they will remove them, just be careful not to include an active one. I do the same with temp numbers, however, once the clients number has ported, I usually check to see that the number is receiving and placing calls correctly via call logs. I then cancel the temp number.
