CNAM issue caused Caller ID header change
FYI only....
For those who are experiencing a CNAM issue where the phone number shows instead of name for CNAM on your BYOD, I discovered that Voipo seems to have made a recent protocol change to their SIP INVITE Caller ID Header to support PAI or PAID (P-asserted Identity) protocol. If your BYOD supports it, you may need to change the Caller ID header setting in your device to support both the "PAI" and "FROM" protocols. This is usually a drop down box SIP setting in most newer SIP devices. My Yealink SIP W52P was set to "FROM" only which caused the issue.
It fixed the following type of issue....
vPanel shows:
Caller ID: 2812058935
CNAM: TOMBALL TX
Caller ID: 5714444350
CNAM: ARLINGTON VA
Phone shows:
Caller ID: 2812058935
CNAM: 2812058935
Caller ID: 5714444350
CNAM: 5714444350
