    Default Restricted to only G711 high bandwidth codec?

    Hi, I got the voiPo service because I travel all the time. I am away from home 10 months out of the year. Most of the time I have only fair internet access. I've assumed that voipo would switch to a low bandwidth codec in these situations, but this appears not to be the case. My calls frequently get too many dropouts for family and friends to hear me. This was not the case with my previous provider who could switch between codecs.

    Does 711 have low and high bandwidth variants? Or is there something else I can do? Or am I out of luck having bought two years of service?

    I realize mine is a more specialty situation....

    VOIPo can change your service to a codec that uses less bandwidth. I would submit a ticket and ask.
