Maybe I missed something way back at the beginning. I thought voipo had real, free 411? If so, why are people jumping through these hoops using the google one? Or am I missing something?

It is free but perhaps some people prefer the Google thing.
I have removed it from speed dial since it is an easy number to remember and I will use the regular 411 on the line. I use goog411 when on my cell or other spots since it is free of carrier 1.79 surcharges and all you pay for is airtime.

I get a busy signal dialing 123 voice mail so they must be working it.

It'll be back shortly. Quick changes about the reported garbled greetings.

I had not noticed the Australian accent but I would guess VOIPo is trying to provide us with some cultural enlightenment.

Voice mail is working for me. FYI the problem with forwarding calls remains.

Recap: I set 411 to forward to GOOG411 The last three digits of my Brother in-laws phone number ends with 411. When calling my Brother in-law I get GOOG411.

    Thanks
    Jim

Ok I was able to duplicate that occurrence also.
    1. I programmed 511 to go to GOOG411.
    2. Dial 511 - get connected to goog411
    3. Dial (631) 360-5111 ( a non-existent number in my area) and get Goog411.
