Inc 500
The Inc 500 list for 2008 will be released August 20th.
HostGator will definitely be on the list, but we won't know what ranking until the list comes out. The interviews were pretty extensive so we think we placed relatively well.
The ranking is based on growth over the period 2004-2007.
2004: $346,000
2007: $18,700,000
So obviously there's a pretty big jump. We expect that to new us a good spot on the list.
Next year's should be even better ranking wise because it'll be 2004 to 2008. We're on track to do in the neighborhood of $60 million this year. Granted we've had to slow growth some in the past (like in 2006 when we were still in South FL and couldn't hire fast enough), but I don't expect we have to do that again. Houston is much better for business.
I would ask you to wish us luck in the ranking, but the list is already complete. It's just a waiting game until they release it.

Anyway, look for us on the 20th. We're hoping to be near the top of the list. Based on comparing our growth rate to past years, we potentially could rank very very high. We're pretty excited about it
