As you're likely aware, we recently announced a recall for some Grandstream HT502 devices which operate at a higher than normal temperature and begin to operate sporadically. The defective devices occasionally lose their connection to our network and fail to re-connect automatically in the event of a service interruption.

If you have experienced this, you know that it's very frustrating. After working with Grandstream for quite some time, we decided that the best course of action would be to recall the devices and issue replacements so that those of you affected can have reliable service that you're confident in and a device that you don't need to reboot regularly.

At this point, we feel that we've identified most users with the defective devices and began issuing replacements last week. If you still have a Grandstream HT502 device which exhibits this behavior, please contact support@voipo.com to arrange to have it replaced.

Again, this only affects some Grandstream HT502 devices. If your device is working well and does not lose its connection to our network regularly, there is no need to replace it.

Please contact us with any questions that you have about this.

We want to thank all affected customers once again for your patience as we've worked through this issue. Have a great weekend!
