Perhaps this has been discussed before ... Allow it to be set by group. Lets say I have a child call Tim. I create a group called "Tim's friends" and contacts for his friends: Brendan, Nitzan, and Lisa. Rather than enter all the numbers for each of these friends to the distinctive ring table, it would be so much more elegant to just be able to assign "Ring Tone 2" to the group "Tim's friends". Of course, an individual number would override the group setting - in other words, if Lisa's cell number needs special status, it could be entered in the distinctive ring table and that entry would take precedence over the group entry.
