I beta tested when Voipo first started out.

If I remember right, your name and number did not show up when you called someone.

Is is still like this or does your name and number now show up when you call someone?

Thinking about coming over from ViaTalk

Your Name and Number shows up.

When I signed up, outbound name & number were only available if you ported in. Have you now started offering it from your inventory of #s as well?

For the majority yes Outbound CID will work, it's dependent on the rate center the number is through.

Is there a way to tell if it is available before I sign up and port or is it something of wait and see?

My original number ported from AT&T in Oklahoma to Viatalk. I would port from VT to Voipo..

Certainly just PM the NpaNxx and I can double check the rate center. If this number currently has Outbound CNAM then you're already in the clear (as in the rate center supports CNAM).

If you're porting, you'll have it.

It's only new numbers where the NPA/NXX matters.
