My Linksys PAP2 device has not been able to register for the last 4 hours. It was ok for the last year.

Tried power booting several times...still not registering.

My Internet connection is perfect.

My device IP is correct in the device by **** 110# and on my dhcp report in router.

Tried various phones.

Looked at the Vpanel and shows no devices registered.

What else can I do?? Is this my problem or??

Thanks,

mm

There are no issues on the VOIPo network at this time.

Do you a ticket number so I can look up your account?

Dial ****RESET press 1 to confirm. Then dial ****110# to get the IP of your router. Login to your router go to admin. Click advanced. The click provisioning. Set the provisioning rule to http://provisioning.voipwelcome.com/$MA (I think thats right)

My PAP2T has lost registration too. Ticket ID: FBI-607148
The Beta Reseller accounts on the same network are working perfectly.Rebooting does nothing. My account has been on the Chicago server.

Everything looks normal now. Only 6 tickets total in queue, so don't think there's anything going on.

Support will go through the tickets and check on it for you.

I did not reboot, but I see I am registered.
All is good again.

My mom's loses registration after every call, inbound or out, takes 3 or 4 minutes to re-register.

The green light for the phone jack on the ATA goes off while the service is down, anyone else seeing this?

Sorry, but that sounds very unusual! Is it a PAP2T?

Yes, the power light flashes green, I swear it was solid when we first hooked it up.

Cisco (http://www.cisco.com/en/US/prod/collateral/voicesw/ps6790/gatecont/ps10024/ps10029/data_sheet_c78-502441.html)

• DC input voltage: +5V DC at 2.0A max.

• Power consumption: 5W

• Switching type (100-240V) automatic

• Power adapter: 100-240V - 50-60 Hz (26-34 VA) AC input, 1.8 m cord
Are you sure the right power supply is plugged in?
If it is less than 2A then it could have issues - an underpowered supply is bad for electronics.
Otherwise, maybe the power supply is failing.
Looks like the supply has twice the current required for the stated 5 watts used.

I switched routers and the ATA light quit blinking.
The Airlink 315w did not have a real DMZ setting, so I installed a 325w and everything seems to be working fine.

We've found that new routers that have a DMZ mode still filter all traffic directed to DMZ which is why we recommend forwarding all the ports. Newer routers can be such a hassle when they are trying to do "everything".

Hopefully that resolves it for you.
