What is "SMS Controls" tab?

My ATA should get here today so I'm setting up my VPanel.

The only thing I have not been able to figure out so far is what the beta "SMS Controls" are for. All my searches have come up empty.

If somebody knows what they are, could you kindly post a reply here?

Drove me crazy too. Finally found this (http://forums.voipo.com/showthread.php?t=1065). I have yet to try this and don't know what state it is in.
