Hello everyone,

I am currently testing out a new faxing product and need your help. If you could, please send a test fax to 18665296979. It can just be a page that says "test fax".

I'm looking for people to test sending faxes with "real" fax machines (from PSTN) so that we can test the reliability of the service.

If you send a fax and it fails, please send me a PM and include the from number and the approximate time of the fax (either in GMT or include your timezone).

Thanks in advance!

~Daniel

You are getting a Super Duper Test Fax as we speak from my Epson Artisan 810 All-In-One printer.

It says "OK" so I suppose you got it. :)

Peace,
Gene

Part of this test is to determine the reliability of it, so feel free to send as many as you'd like. If it is busy or gives an error saying to retry, retry later. (I only have one channel at the moment as it is just in a testing phase.)

[Edit - never mind]

Thanks to everyone who has been testing it out. Please be sure to notify me of any transmission errors (other than the busy message)... In your report, please be sure to include the # it was coming from and the approximate time. You can email me at danielc@voipo.com

Feel free to send as many tests as you would like to 1-866-529-6979 as we are also testing the stability. If you get a Busy error, please don't report it. Just attempt to send the fax again later.

Thanks!

Do you prefer the fax to be sent from our VOIPo service or just from a regular landline?

This is a month old, do you still need help with this??

I can send from a Canadian fax machine, on a POTS network, but running thru a Asterisk server, ( and is a bit flaky to online fax servers, I notice.. ) so this may be a good test for you.. let me know!

I'm back to testing out a new configuration... If you could, please send a fax to 18665296979. Please do not use the send fax feature in vPanel. Please send from another provider's fax service or a regular fax machine.

Yes, it would help. Could you send a fax to 214-509-7302 from there?

Thanks,
Daniel

Daniel:

Sure, I can do this! You gave 2 numbers, do you want me to test both??

I will send out some tests from my work office later today..

( we have unlimited calls to all of USA/Canada here)

How many pages?? I would send two, a cover page and a body page. Does that work?

Thanks, Stefan

I just sent you one. My system said it transmitted OK.

It was from a true fax machine from my office where we have Vonage for phone and fax service. So, it came via VOIP, but an old-sytle fax machine.
