I have a question now if we use the provisioning in the ata's is that going to clone the 2nd line to the first line or do we have a option to manually configure the 2nd line or how does that work?

You chose the number you assign to each line.
It can be the same number to become a cloned line.
If they are two different numbers, they are two different accounts on the one ATA.
You can also leave the second line disabled - all depends on what you are selling.
Or leave the first line disabled ...

Yes, the managed ATAs let you set user pass and admin pass.
Also you can chose the port numbers.
If you have many ATAs on one network, you can set the ports all different :)
(Rather than 5060/5061)

You can suspend and cancel accounts too.
Just be careful - cancel is permanent!

A Question on ATA's what are most resellers doing for ATA's are you getting them yourself and setting them up and shipping to your clients?

What kinda ATA's are you using for your clients?

Right now we're seeing a ton of orders from us, but I'm assuming people are getting them elsewhere too.

Another question we've gotten is the ownership. With our residential service and the included account, we don't charge for the ATAs but they must be returned upon cancellation or the customer is billed. This is only because we do not charge for them.

With the ones you guys purchase, you own them and do not need to return them. So if you client cancels, you can reuse for another client. I'd recommend everyone setting a similar policy (must return if cancelled) so you can reuse them. It cuts costs down a lot.

Now tim where are you getting your ata's at because I can't find a place that sells them like the one you sent me. Are these ata's you give out brand new or (Recertified).

I believe only 3 models were ultimately supported.

Linksys PAP2T
Linksys RT31P2

Found this link in a thread http://www.thetelecomspot.com/linksyspap2tinternetphoneadapterwith2voipports-p-27839.html

I have not bought them there.
I am not jumping into the Reseller Market just now.
