New Customers

Hey, if I start a new customer up, would I have to wait 7-10 days, or could I just set them up with a softphone, than transfer when the adapter comes..

You could setup with a soft phone you do not have to wait the 7-10 days.

Go to Accounts and scrol down. Then click on the account you're dealing with.

There will be a section "SIP Credentials" and you can use the to configure a softphone. We recommend X-Lite from http://www.counterpath.com/x-lite.html

I tried to get the xlite to work, but seemed there were extra fields to fill out. I used zoipo, and it worked fine, but like the xlite interface better. Is there a link to help with setting up xlite?

For XLite, simply configure the following fields:

Domain (sip.voipwelcome.com)

User ID: (Username)

Password: (Password)

Leave everything else as Default, except maybe "Account Name" which is purely for identification purposes.
