Example: on usage report, if we "mouse over" the account name, we could view the Notes field on their account. We could then place info in the Notes field that would be meaningful to the reseller, such as "plan" or customer's name. (This could also be done by adding a large Notes column on the report, if there is room.)

Why do we need it?

We all want to make billing as easy as possible. The easiest way to do this, is to sell plans which are automatically billed each month. Then just charge for overage separately, when necessary (which hopefully is the exception rather than the norm.)

But in order to determine overage, we must use the Usage report, which currently just shows account names. Since account names are usually just a phone number, they are meaningless and must be manually cross referenced to determine each customer's calling plan or pre-paid minutes.

We can put Plan info in the Notes field, but to access that, we must "drill down" into each and every account, every month, to determine what plan they have... then go back to the report. Or cross reference with a separate list of accounts, etc... flipping back and forth.

If we could only see the customer's name and the notes field, via mouse over, we could quickly determine calling plan and therefore who, if anyone, needed to be billed for additional minutes or international calls that were NOT included in their plan.

That means we could automate MOST of our billing each month by selling plans. And our staff members would have a means of quickly determining who went over so we could generate the extra bills.

Please add mouse over "notes" to the usage reports page.

Or just a Notes column... but please make it fairly large, like 2 rows tall and 10 to 20 characters wide.

Thanks! :)

While we're at it, let's put Notes (via mouse over or column) on the Accounts list page.

This would give us meaningful info when trying to find a customer's account, without having to go cross reference the phone number.

As long as we are asking, a reference field for each telephone number would be enormously helpful on accounts with multiple telephone numbers. This is especially so in the Phone Numbers tab in which destination numbers can be changed.
