Port Distinctive Ring POTS Number to Virtual Fax?

Hello----I'm currently a VOIPo customer, and I'd like to port a distinctive ring number with Centurylink POTS (currently used to receive faxes) over to the VOIPo virtual fax service.

Is this possible??

As I recall, Tim said you could port a number in to use as your VOIPo virtual fax number. I don't know whether the same applies to a number that itself was a virtual number, i.e., your "distinctive ring" number. I would think so, but it depends on whether you have the right to port a virtual number away from Centurylink.

Thanks, Caseydoug, I certainly have a right to port out of Centurylink, but I'm unclear about how these "virtual" numbers are handled.

I'll check with support, when I'm ready to move it.
