View Full Version : Erroneous Usage Billing - International/Minute Usage

On Friday we had a database failure affecting call logs that forced us to rebuild our call logs from backups.

Today, our billing system erroneously flagged some calls that were restored from the backups as new calls and billed for them in error.

International Calls - Some users were re-billed for international calls that have already been billed for in the past.

Toll-Free/Express Forwarding - Some users with Express Forwarding or Toll-Free accounts were re-billed for "overage" calls in error. Overage calls are calls that were placed in months where you exceeded your account's included minutes.

Fortunately, we caught this quickly and it only affected about 600 customers.

All usage invoices generated today have been voided and any charges associated with them have been refunded.

Again, all invoices have been canceled and if you were charged, the charge has been refunded. If you were affected, we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this has caused and have put checks into our system to account for this in the future.
