hello
my router is constantly getting hit with this address. I assume it has to do with the phone service (voipo) but my router drops it.
any idea what it is for? there is another one it gets hit with all the time too.
208.43.68.151 (sip-east01.voipwelcome.com)
72.51.46.124 (sip-west.voipwelcome.com)
thanks

These are "keep alive" packets from Voipo's SIP servers. It appears your ATA is behind your router, and these packets are intended to keep the SIP port open through your router's firewall. Your ATA is probably registered with sip-central01.voipwelcome.com (174.37.45.134) and these packets are getting through ok. You shouldn't experience any issues as long as this SIP server is not having any issues, but in the unlikely event they need to suddenly re-route you to the other SIP servers, you may experience a loss of service until it's resolved or may require you to reboot your ATA. Port forwarding the SIP ports in your router will keep these other packets from being blocked.
