Granted I won't be officially supported any longer if I switch... Will VOIPo play nicely with a Panasonic KX-TGP550 IP Phone? I've heard some really good things about IP phones vs using an ATA.

Thoughts?

Look for the credentials in you vpanel.

I also have a panasonic tgp551, and the codec's listed include: G722 and G729A. It does NOT have G711, which I see on the forums is supposedly the only codec for VOIPO! Does anyone know if this is actually the case? I believe I found a review of the Panasonic phone on Amazon in which the author claimed to have VOIPO running on one line....

This is what their specs show....

Thanks; on the phone itself, it "hides" the G.711 A-law codec as PCMA!

I have a 550 working with Voipo, though haven't figured out how to get the Voicemail button to dial voicemail yet. I also have a somewhat long delay on outbound dialing, but I don't think that's a Panasnic issue.

I'll post some 550 specific notes tomorrow.

Thanks; I got the voicemail working: From the Panasonic's web interface, on the TELEPHONE tab, click on call control, line 1 and enter "123" (without the quotes :o) for the Voice Mail Access Number.
Still interested in your notes, as I am not sure I have my settings right. The biggest pain with the Panasonic is setting the registration interval down to 10 minutes (600) which requires a TFTP provided configuration file as it cannot be set through the web interface. I've had to reboot and re-provision with the file about a hundred times before it actually took!
