View Full Version : Why can't I call my mother, a VoIPo customer, using SIP URI?

I can call other SIP URI, just not voipo. What gives? I am using 1XXXXXXXXXX@in.voipwelcome.com. Never connects.

I think it should be xxxxxx@in01.voipwelcome.com (no 1, and in01). It works for me

I checked my contacts, I did not have the leading 1. Typo in the original post. Changing to xxxxxxxxxx@in01.voipwelcome.com does not work either.

"408 timeout error"

I have a vague recollection that this did not work when calling another VOIPo customer.

Open a ticket about this and support will be able to look at an actual failed call and help diagnose.

Actually, using SIP was the workaround when the PSTN number would not go VOIPo to VOIPo.
