When I initiated my VOIPO service, I was required to provide a 911 address. Well I needed to make a 911 call, it took seven minutes before the call was placed. Much too long. Is this normal?

Also, I see E911 in the vpanel. There is no address listed there. Is this a different 911 then when I set up VOIPO? Is there a cost associated with E911?

No, it should definitely not take minutes.

The 911 page pulls the address on file with the E911 provider and shows it. If the address is blank, then E911 is not setup on your account properly. If there is no address, it would route to a generic 911 call center.

Contact support and we will be able to get it setup properly and investigate further.
