Sip Question

In order to help mask voipo and voipwelcome.com I have set up a cname sip.mydomain.com and set it to sip.voipwelcome. Just wanting to make sure that 1 this is allowed before I start using it and also if anyone else has tried this.

a bunch of us tried this about a year ago, but never got it working.
