View Full Version : calls to 800 numbers don't always work

I've noticed, though not reported, that sometimes calls to toll-free numbers get a busy signal when they shouldn't (calling large companies with tons of lines). I mentioned that to Ray in support and he hadn't heard of any such issue so he's not troubleshooting it, but there's nothing in the network that would effect only me. He and I thought that other users are likely experiencing the same thing and keeping quiet about it, so he suggested that all users getting busy signals to toll-free numbers should send an email to support@voipo.com outlining the VOIPO number called from, the toll-free number dialed, and the time of day of the call attempt. Ray knows I'm posting this here, and he will come back and give the all clear when he doesn't want any more call examples.

I haven't had one failed call attempt to toll-free numbers since I posted the message above.

I think they call that the "Chicken Little" syndrome in the medical world.:p
