We had a power outage last night, and when it came back, we had no phone. I logged into my PAP2 and noticed that it had been reset to factory. I haven't touched it in a few years, and have no clue what the sip settings are these days. Much worse, I have no clue what my user/pass is to register with voipo servers. I submitted a ticket this morning, and hope to hear back soon. It would be nice if this info was available in vpanel. I hope I don't have to wait till Monday to hear from support.

Do you have this in your provisioning field..

http://provisioning.voipo.com/$MA

That should get you provisioned quickly..

It sounds like he is BYOD in which case he may not want to provision it.

IF you go here and enable softphone does it give you the credentials? Mine says password "Emailed" now instead of just giving up the password on the site.

https://secure.voipo.com/preferences/softphone

Otherwise submit a ticket. You never know whos looking and this one should be an easy one.

I get this:

Softphone / BYOD Devices
Unfortunately we have not verified that your device is currently provisioned and registered to VOIPo's network, please ensure your device is currently connected and registered in order to retrieve your softphone SIP credentials!

I found your ticket and it looks like this is all taken care of now. Are you back up and running?

Hi Tim,, great to hear from you again !! Support sent me the info I needed, and I will set up my PAP2 in the morning when I get back home. Watching the 49ers tonight, which takes priority :-)

All I'm getting now is "can't connect to login server". I'll call support tomorrow.

I set up line 2 with another company, just to be sure the PAP2 still works, and it connected on the first try. Now line 1 (Voipo) just says 'offline' instead of 'can't connect...'

Mine also says "Emailed" though it never was. In MY HT702 I put the VOIPo password in the optional name block (instead of my name) in case I need to go through the setup process again.

Simply hit 'save' and you will be generated a new password and emailed at the address on file.

The 'e-mailed' text perhaps needs to be updated (will look into this) - as it is not emailing it each time you refresh/load the page, only once at the actual time of retrieval.

How about replacing the word 'emailed' by a button that says 'send to my email' (or similar language)? As it stands now, it appears that each time one hits 'Save', a new password is generated and sent. What if you want to see what the current password is without changing it? (If Voipo does not want to make that option available, that's fine--I'd just recommend adding a note to customers so that they know that requesting the password will result in the password being reset to a new value.)

If the page looks different than this, click on submit or save again. I had this problem initially, but once I clicked on save/send (do not remember exactly) I got the password by email.
