The answer is maybe. Vonage typically "locks" their provisioned ATA's to their service. You will need to find out if the model you have can be "unlocked". My suggestion is to do a Google search using the following parameter: Unlock Vonage XXXXX (where XXXXX is model number of your Vonage ATA) and see what comes up. It may be simple, difficult or not possible at all. If you are able to unlock the ATA, then you will have to be knowledgeable enough to setup the device yourself for BYOD. Voipo allows BYOD, but they provide little to no support....you are basically on your own.

Even if you could, it would be quicker and easier to buy one unlocked from ebay.

Afterall, what is the point fighting to unlock an adapter that you can buy for $25?? Already unlocked.

I would recommend using this AT&Tvoip phones~
The Syn248 Deskphone is the AT&T VoIP phone that when used in conjunction with a Syn248 analog gateway will create a professional small business phone system for up to 24 phone users using up to 8 PSTN trunk lines (using 2 Syn248 gateways). The Syn248 deskset features a 2.75in LCD display, 9 programmable feature keys, a hands free speakerphone, built in voicemail and message waiting indicator (MWI).
