Feature Request: Distinctive Ring

With my various previous phone services, I have always had this feature and having at least two distinct ring patterns would greatly help with the WAF.

This feature has definitely been requested before. I believe Tim plans to implement it at some point, it just didn't make it into the initial launch. Ideally, this feature would allow distinctive ring based on incoming CID and/or number dialed (e.g. to tell if someone called the virtual number or the main number). I don't know how far out on the timetable this feature is...

IIRC, the HT-502 features "Distinctive Ring Tone" for up to 3 incoming caller IDs
I have not tried using it, so I can say for sure if the feature works or not.
But you can let us know

My 3rd distinctive ring wish is: Assign my Group "Family" a distinctive ring.

The other two were:

Distinctive ring for inbound CID would be nice.
Distinctive ring for differentiating a Virtual Number was called would be cool!

All these phone with RING TONES - don't they wreck this concept

I've never experienced distinctive ring.
Hope it will not generate tons of support!
Anybody with UNIDEN used this on other services?
