That would depend on your distance from the CO. You didn't get stuck with a 1 or 2 yr commitment for the lower rate? I have never been able to run at advertised speeds. Close to it, but never at it. Too many variable with network traffic and routing to get advertised speeds. Verizon is finally installing FIOS in neighborhood. Not sure if I'll make the jump.
