Intercept/error messages?
I encountered a non-VOIPo problem this morning... I had to return a call I got paged to, and they keyed in the # incorrectly when paging me, so the # I was dialing was a bad/inactive #. I tried calling several times on my VOIPo line, and there was just silence after dialing. Only when I finally called from my cell did I get two different intercept messages: "all circuits are busy" on my VZW cell, and something different on my ATT cell (it was 5am, so I'm foggy on what ATT's msg said).
Anyway, because of the differing recordings, it appears that the calling party's provider supplies the intercept messages if the call can't be completed. Is that accurate? If so, is there any way for VOIPo to give some kind of basic intercept message (or even a fast busy) so I know the call was attempted and it failed outside the VOIPo fenceline?
