    It may well be famous but I don't know about it lol. But I am a transplant from the UK so I am not too familiar with the area.

    In North Adams, there is a part of (possibly Route 2 or 2A) where it says caution, hairpin turn and they are not kidding. I almost bought the farm there cause if you don't slow down, you GO down....
