Thread: No confirmation, only blank screen after adding hardware

Default No confirmation, only blank screen after adding hardware

When assigning hardware to an account yesterday, I noticed the following behavior...

On the Hardware-Configure screen, after selecting the device type, account, entering the MAC address, and pressing 'Add Device', the system simply returns a blank page.

After returning to the account screen, it appears as though the hardware MAC was assigned appropriately*, however there should be some sort of confirmation, along with a top menu to continue navigation. With current behavior, the only option is to use the browser back key or modify the URL manually to continue.

*Note: I presume the MAC is being successfully added, because when I return to the accounts screen, I see the MAC address assigned to the account. HOWEVER, that said, after working with two separate accounts and devices - an RT31P and a PAP2T, I have been unsuccessful in getting these devices to provision correctly (using provisioning.voipo.com). Therefore, I am not yet convinced a proper/complete provisioning file is being created when using the 'add hardware' function.

Brandon (et al), I welcome the opportunity to explore this issue with you further... Thanks!

Just to be 100% sure, are you using provisioning.voipo.com or http://provisioning.voipo.com/$MA for the profile rule?

Sorry Tim... my attempt at forum shorthand didn't work in this case

I am currently using the following provisioning string in the profile rule:

    http://provisioning.voipo.com/$MA

(I verified spelling and case, just to be sure)
