    Default SMS, remote access

Where do things stand now for controlling features when away from the voipo line or the control panel? Can it be done via text, or a remote phone number? What are the options and command codes?

That link I think is a good read.

After scanning, it looks like an official cheat sheet would be nice!
Add a link from the https://secure.voipo.com/beta/sms page to the cheat sheet.

I haven't tried it in a while, but wasn't it possible to change features by calling 832-838-7000? Or maybe I'm thinking of "VOIPo Connect," which used to be 714-209-7280, but that number appears no longer functional.

BTW, has VOIPo Connect been abandoned?

Is this how things currently work?

    Testing SMS Number: 95495

    Commands Available Now:

VOIPO1 FWD NUMBER (Enable Forwarding to a Number)
    VOIPO1 FWD OFF (Disable Forwarding)
VOIPO1 FWD ME (Forward to Your Cell)

VOIPO1 DND BUSY (Enable DND - Busy)
VOIPO1 DND VOICEMAIL (Enable DND - Voicemail)
VOIPO1 DND OFF - (Disable DND)

VOIPO1 FAIL VOICEMAIL (Set Failover to Voicemail)
VOIPO1 FAIL NUMBER (Set Failover to Number)

For the early testing, you need to prepend VOIP1 to all commands. When this is rolled out to the public, you'll be able to text the commands directly to VOIPO (86476) without the need to prepend.

That number allowed remote dial-out, and star codes.

I am surprised they just didn't kill the remote dial-out and keep the star code part?

I mostly experimented with remotely dialing Canadian friends from my cell.
That was working for me with the Residential Plan way back when.

Should there be a reply message stating that the command was successfully received and processed?
