Like VOIPo, allow a BYOD credential set separate from managed ATAs so soft phones are limited to maybe two instances?
Will there be a limit for managed ATA? By-The-Minute billing for a Managed ATA might want more than one.
If MAC ID is always available. The Device list on the Reseller view might benefit from it?
Plus knowing which server assigned would make the BYOD stand out from the Managed ATA.
