    Default Ekiga Settings

I am trying to set up Ekiga to work as a Softphone for VOIPo in Ubuntu 9.04 (Jaunty), but I am not sure how to match up the settings. I have searched with Google, but have not found the answer.

In the VOIPo VPanel I under "Features > Preferences > Softphone / BYOD" it says:
    Hostname: sip.voipwelcome.com
    Username: my phone number
    Password: my secret password

In Ekiga when I try to add an SIP account I see the following fields:
    Name: __________
    Registrar: __________
    User: __________
    Authentication User: __________
    Password: __________
Timeout: __________ (prefilled to 3600 by default)

I am sure that I am overlooking something very simple, but I have not been able to figure out a configuration that Ekiga will accept. If anyone else is using Ekiga I would really appreciate any help that you could offer in how to configure the account there.

    Thank you.

This should be moved to the BYOD forum
Authentication user and Name is your DID (Phone number)
I would guess Registrar is sip.voipwelcome.com

Would it be easier to just get their free SIP address then multi-ring that sip URL?
Or if its the only sip client you are using, just point forwarding to their SIP URL.

Hopefully a mod will move the thread.

    Thank you.

Those settings seem to have been accepted. Now I just need to figure out how to use the software.

I have moved the thread to the appropriate forum. I apologize for posing in the wrong place.
