Mine has been using an SSL (HTTPS) URL without issue.
I display an animated GIF image.

As long as the URL you're using is an https secure URL, it won't show errors.

We are looking at adding an upload feature to securely host the images for those without SSL hosting soon.

I have https, but the logo is scrunched into a little 145x45 box. Is there any way you could code in any more real estate?

Odd. I'm using a 175x40 Gif for my beta account.
That is fairly generous size IMHO. But you can fit more on an animation!

Here's for hoping a Phase-II is in the works that will have an API and this interface won't be needed.
