SIP usage is when you use a SIP address instead of a phone number.

So if an incoming call goes to 10DigitNumber@in01.voipwelcome.com or you forward something to a sip address outbound. Basically it's when you don't use the phone number and it bypasses the regular phone network and stays on the internet the entire time.
