I found a clear wire ata adapter that looks just like the one I use for my voipo system. If it is locked, how hard is it to configure. Heck it is only 15.00, better than paying 40.00

He charges a small fee to unlock many types of ATAs.
DSLReports Basic membership is free. Lifetime Premium membership is $10.
Alternatively VoIP Tech Chat forum has a number of threads tagged [Unlock] that may relate to the ATA you are interested in.

Keep us updated on this if you're able to unlock it. I'm curious to hear how well the device works with a third party service on it.
