    Default PAP2T BYOD setup

    I tried to find this info but some of the links were out of date.
    Where in the ATA setup do I put my Hostname, Username and Password?

    Do I need to change/add anything else?

    Thanks
    Jeff

    You can find some screen shots for the PAP2T from a couple of years ago here:
    http://support.voipo.com/screenshots/pap2t/

    Go to the Line 1 and Line 2 tabs in the ATA to enter your hostname, username and password in the following fields:

    Hostname = Proxy field
    Username = User ID field
    Password = Password field

    This should get you up and going right away.

    Pretty much all of the factory defaults can be left alone except for a few settings:

    1) Go to the "Provisioning" tab and set the "Provision Enable" option to no.
    2) Go to the "Regional" tab and set your time zone to the correct GMT time. If daylight savings time is applicable, set this to start=3/8/7/2:00:00;end=11/1/7/2:00:00;save=1
    3) Go to the "System" tab and set Primary NTP Server: time.nist.gov Secondary NTP Server: time-a.nist.gov (Note there are many NTP servers on the Internet. You can use other ones too.)

    You may also need to modify your registration intervals, dial plan settings and DTMF settings as needed.

    The PAP2 Administration guide is a good resource for your tweaking your settings:
